Get to know me...

Now then.

Appreciate it's hard to get to know someone through a blog (if this is what that is?) but thought I'd give you a little insight into me, if you're arsed anyway.

1. Where am I from? Costa Del Doncaster - South Yorkshire, it gets a bad rep does Donny but I'll defend it forever, I love my home city. (We are actually a city, believe it or not), plus we have polar bears.

2. How old are you? This will differ depending when you're reading this, but I graced this world in August 1994 and if this is your sort of thing (not for me personally) I'm a Virgo.

3. What is your favourite colour? Mustard Yellow, or Red, it differs, I like blue as well - a side note to people on dating apps, stop asking me this question - I doubt anyone here cares, let alone on Bumble.

4. Favourite food? I can't choose just one, but give me a Pizza, some Ramen, a decent Bolognese, or most types of Pasta and I'll be a happy gal.

5. What is your dream job? Radio Presenter, I'm already part way there, so hopefully watch this space!

6. Which fictional character do you relate to the most? Bridget Jones, multiple people have likened me, I don't know whether to be pleased or offended. but, it's true, I'm clumsy, rubbish at dating, work in broadcasting and just a bit daft!

7. Favourite bands/artists? Courteeners, Red Rum Club, Oasis (as a group and separately), Sam Fender, Reytons, Reverend and the Makers, Idle Noise, The Enemy also partial to some Harry Styles (guilty pleasure), but I would be here for days if I carried on.

8. Favourite place to visit? I've been Amsterdam 6 times, I bloody love the place, Budapest is also bloody lovely and Vegas was definitely a highlight too.

9. Biggest achievement(s)? I have two - aside from my career, one is that I cycled from Yorkshire to Amsterdam three times for Prostate Cancer UK, raising around £9k in the process. I also have a Guinness World Record, was a group effort, but we played Rounders for 24 hours, 34 minutes and 18 seconds, yes it hurt, yes it was worth it, we raised over £10k for Ashgate Hospice in Chesterfield.

10. What would you do if you won the lottery? The million pound question, literally. - Firstly I'd go on a massive holiday, because I don't get that much time off or to myself. Secondly, I'd buy a property with no mortgage and then I would gift some to family. Then just carry on living my life as normal, I'd still work. I'd be keeping the win a secret though.

11. If you had a warning label, what would yours say? 'Doesn't think before speaking'/'Weird laugh'/'Clumsy' - something along them lines anyway.

That's me anyway - I won't ramble on about myself too much, but sometimes it's nice to know the person behind the site.
